This Delock USB-C extension adapter connects two USB-C devices and lengthens the connection by three centimetres. It is useful for relieving strain on a USB-C port when a plug sits tightly or the port is delicate, as the mechanical load is transferred away from the socket. The metal housing in anthracite is sturdy and compact, measuring about 2.2 x 1.3 x 0.8 cm and weighing 20 g.

The adapter has one USB-C plug and one USB-C socket and supports data transfer at up to 40 Gbps. Power delivery according to USB PD 3.1 is supported up to 240 W, with a maximum voltage of 48 V and a maximum current of 5 A. DisplayPort Alt Mode, HDCP and HDR support, and audio and video transmission are also included, while the maximum resolution depends on the system and connected hardware.

The adapter is backward compatible with USB 3.2, USB 2.0, Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4, and can be used on either side.
