This Delock USB-C extension adapter links two USB-C connectors, lengthening a cable or port connection by about 3 cm. It has a USB-C plug and a USB-C socket rated at 40 Gbps, and it is backward compatible with USB 3.2, USB 2.0, Thunderbolt 3 and Thunderbolt 4. The 90° angled design can be used on either side and helps relieve strain on the cable and port when space is tight.

The adapter supports data transfer at up to 40 Gbps and USB power delivery according to USB PD 3.1, up to 240 watts. It also supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, the transmission of audio and video signals, and HDCP and HDR. Maximum resolution depends on the system and connected hardware; with DisplayPort 1.4 and DSC, up to 7680 x 4320 pixels at 60 Hz is possible.

The anthracite PVC housing is compact, measuring roughly 2.7 x 1.2 x 0.7 cm and weighing about 20 g. It helps protect a free USB-C port from wear caused by frequent plugging and unplugging.
