This Delock null modem cable connects two serial RS-232 devices directly for data transfer. It is fully wired and supports CTS and RTS flow control. It is suitable for use with printers, measuring instruments, converters, RS-232 hubs and patch panels.
The connectors are mini D-Sub 9 plugs, measuring about 44 x 33.3 x 15 mm, so they remain compact. This allows the cable to fit into most RS-232 ports and makes it practical where serial connections sit close together.
Both ends are female, and the cable weighs around 60 g. It is a handy solution for linking two serial devices.
