This Delock adapter lets you connect SATA devices to an IDE interface. It features a 22-pin SATA socket, a 40-pin IDE plug and a 4-pin power connector that supplies the device. The converter complies with the Serial ATA 3 Gb/s specification and supports the parallel Ultra ATA/133 interface as well as PIO and UDMA modes.
A jumper allows you to select Master, Slave or Cable Select operation. It is compatible with SATA hard drives and SATA drives such as CD-ROM, DVD-ROM and Blu-ray. At roughly 75 x 23 x 21 mm and 50 g, the compact adapter is easy to fit.
Because it works independently of the operating system, no driver installation is required.
