The Delock PCI Express card adds two external serial RS-232 ports to your computer via DB9 connectors. It is suitable for connecting devices with a serial interface, such as scanners, printers or mice.
The Exar XR17V352 chipset supports data transfer rates of up to 230.4 Kbps and features a 256-byte FIFO buffer. It is compatible with the 16C550 UART. Data bits (5 to 8), stop bits, parity and flow control (hardware RTS/CTS or software XON/XOFF) can be configured as needed.
Two low-profile brackets are included, so the card can also be installed in a mini PC. The card requires a free PCI Express x1 slot and runs on Windows 8.1 and Windows 10, in 32-bit and 64-bit versions. Drivers are supplied on the enclosed CD.
