Color
This FireWire cable connects two devices with FireWire (IEEE 1394) ports directly to each other. Both connectors are of the FireWire type, and it is a male-to-male connection, meaning both ends have plugs. The black cable measures 2 metres and suits peripheral devices that sit beyond the reach of a shorter cable.
The 4-pin (4/4) design carries data and power through a single connector and is intended for use with equipment that uses this port type. The straight connector has a 0-degree angle, so the cable plugs in without any additional bend.
