This active adapter converts a DisplayPort signal into a DVI-I signal, allowing you to connect a DVI monitor to a free DisplayPort output. Because the conversion is active, it also works with graphics cards that cannot output a DP++ signal. The 20-pin DisplayPort plug connects to the graphics card, while the USB Type-A plug provides power.

On the output side, a DVI-D Single Link socket with 24+5 contacts and securing screws is fitted; the VGA function is not wired. The adapter supports DisplayPort 1.1a, HDCP 1.3 and Eyefinity. The maximum resolution is 1920 x 1200 at 60 Hz, depending on the monitor and system. No driver installation is needed, as the adapter works independently of the operating system.

The black cable measures approximately 23 cm including the connectors.
