The Delock D-type module with a DB9 plug on the outside and a DB9 socket with screw nuts on the inside allows digital devices to be built into panels or frames that have a D-type opening, such as those designed for XLR jacks. It makes it straightforward to integrate serial connections into professional audio systems.
The housing is made of zinc die-cast in black. Its dimensions of approx. 31 x 25 x 18 mm and a panel cut-out of approx. 20 x 11 mm match standard D-type openings. Two mounting holes accommodate the clamping screws that secure the module in the panel.
The module comes in a resealable plastic bag and weighs about 20 g.
