This DELOCK Cat.8.1 slim patch cable is a 1-metre, ultra-flexible network cable with U/FTP shielding in grey. Designed for 25 and 40GBASE-T Ethernet networks, it supports 40-gigabit transmission with a maximum bandwidth of 2000 MHz and a characteristic impedance of 100 Ω.

The cable combines a 32 AWG stranded copper conductor with a halogen-free LSZH-TPE jacket and measures only about 3.8 mm in diameter. RJ-45 connectors (8P8C) at both ends feature strain relief and latch protection, and the gold-plated (3 μm) contacts are configured according to the EIA/TIA-568 B standard.

The cable is particularly suited to server racks, where low cable weight and better airflow are important. The PiMF aluminium foil shielding helps maintain high signal quality even in electrically noisy environments.
