This Delock adapter extends a serial interface by linking a D-Sub 25-pin male connector to an RJ45 socket using an optional Cat.5, Cat.5e or Cat.6 cable. The pin assignment can be configured individually: simply connect the cable ends to the desired terminals on the connector and snap the housing shut.
The adapter features one serial D-Sub 25-pin male plug and one eight-pin RJ45 socket. The serial connection uses screw-in plug terminals, and the housing measures approximately 42 x 55 x 16 mm including the connectors. It weighs about 30 grams and comes in blue.
A free D-Sub 25-pin female port and a free RJ45 input are required. The package includes the adapter and a resealable plastic bag.
