    The Defender Z9 is a portable Bluetooth speaker delivering 16 W RMS output in a 2.0 stereo configuration. Its Bluetooth 5.3 connection is stable with a range of about 10 metres, and it supports TWS (True Wireless Stereo) mode for pairing with a second unit.

    An built-in FM tuner (87.5–108 MHz) and playback from microSD cards and USB flash drives (up to 32 GB, FAT32) make it highly versatile. An AUX audio input and a hands-free speakerphone function are also included. Volume is controlled by the dial on the top panel.

    The 2000 mAh lithium-ion battery provides up to 5 hours of playback according to the manufacturer and charges via USB-C. Ten LED light effects give it a striking look, and the backlighting can be switched off. The black housing combines plastic and metal.
