The Datalogic QuickScan QD2220 is an entry-level, corded 1D barcode scanner designed for retail checkout, industrial, hospitality and government use. It uses a linear CCD image sensor with LED illumination, connects via USB, and comes with a stand included in the package.

The scanner reads long barcodes with ease, such as those commonly found on utility bills, in document processing and on packaging. It can read codes through plexiglass and can scan electronic coupons displayed on the screen of a smartphone.

Its lightweight, ergonomic design and IP42 protection rating support reliable, durable operation. The device withstands a 1.5-metre drop onto concrete and operates without errors in ambient light up to 120,000 lux. Its maximum motion tolerance is 1016 mm/s.
