1831. The young Charles Darwin is just finishing his studies and is preparing to become a country minister. Although he is only 22 years old, due to random events he boards the ship Beagle and sets off on a trip around the world. A journey lasting more than five years changes his view of the world…

When he returned, Charles became Darwin. One of the greatest scientists of all time, he was ready to set about the creation of his great work, devoting his attention to it alone. He was still humanistic and loving, but a little too serious to allow himself the debauchery of old. He became an all-round admirable man who commanded respect for his dedicated work over the decades.
