The DarkFlash DM8 LINE is a black 120 mm case fan designed for cooling PC cases. Its seven blades deliver, according to the manufacturer, an airflow of 58.0 CFM and a static pressure of 1.8 mmH₂O. The speed can be controlled between 800 and 1600 RPM through the 4-pin PWM connector, so the fan's output can be matched to the current cooling demand.

The frame has a right-angled, minimalist industrial design, and four rubber vibration-damping pads help reduce vibration and the noise it causes. A fluid dynamic bearing is intended to support quiet operation and a service life of up to 40,000 hours. The fan is rated at 30 dB, and its metal emblem has a textured CD-like finish.

The fan features linear ARGB lighting with ring-shaped effects. Its 5 V 3-pin A-RGB connector lets the lighting sync with the motherboard, and the fan is compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, MSI Mystic Light Sync, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion 2.0 and ASRock Polychrome SYNC. Multiple fans can also be daisy-chained together.
