DAHUA LR1002-1EC

The Dahua LR1002-1EC is a single-port long-distance Ethernet over Coax extender that carries a network connection over an existing coaxial cable with a BNC connector. It provides one RJ45 port at 10/100 Mbps and one BNC port, making it suitable for linking devices across longer distances without installing new network cabling.

The unit supports the IEEE802.3 and IEEE802.3u standards as well as power over Ethernet under IEEE802.3af and IEEE802.3at, and long-distance power can be delivered through the coaxial cable. According to the specifications, RG59 coaxial cable reaches 400 m at 100 Mbps or 1000 m at 10 Mbps. It features automatic MDI/MDIX adaptation.

The extender offers lightning protection of 4 kV common mode and 2 kV differential mode. It operates between -30 °C and +65 °C at 5% to 95% relative humidity and draws less than 2 W. The housing measures 79 × 52 × 23 mm and weighs 61 g.
