D-LINK DMC-810SC 1000BaseT to 1000BaseLX (SC) Singlemode Media Converter

Converts from 1000BaseT (RJ-45) to 1000BaseSX (SC-Duplex) multimodal (and vice versa). up to a distance of 550m.

With changing networks and increasing data traffic, both fiber optic cabling and fiber optic devices represent greater value. Fiber optic sections are primarily used for internal LAN connections, as they combine the advantages of interference-free data transmission and high reception security. The transition is usually gradual, so most companies already have Gigabit copper or fiber cabling.

But this converter is also suitable for companies that want to use different Gigabit cabling when expanding their office space. Thanks to the converter, you can easily and cost-effectively use different topologies with interoperable Gigabit speeds. Depending on the distance to be covered, you can choose the DMC-700SC or the DMC-810SC. All converters seamlessly combine Gigabit Ethernet twisted-pair cabling with fiber optic technology. For the DCM-700SC SX-fiber optic cabling, it can be laid up to a distance of 550 meters, for the DMC-810SC LX-fiber optic cabling up to a distance of 10 km.
