    The D-Link DGS-1530-28/E is an intelligent, managed Layer 2 switch designed for metro Ethernet and campus networks where a reliable, high-bandwidth connection is essential. It provides 24 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000BASE-T) with RJ-45 connectors, plus 4 SFP+ slots for 10-Gigabit uplinks.

    For network security, the switch offers access control lists (ACL), several user authentication methods and IP-MAC-Port binding. Each port is protected against overvoltage, and the device supports ERPS (Ethernet Ring Protection Switching) to help maximise network availability.

    The switch can be physically stacked, and a redundant power supply (RPS) can be connected for added resilience. Supported standards include IEEE 802.1D, 802.1w (RSTP) and 802.3ad, among others. The unit weighs 2.6 kg.
