Csukás István - Diótörőcske – Mesejáték

The Nutcracker is the last work of István Csukás, a great classic of Hungarian children's literature. The heroes of this magical Christmas fairy tale game are animated toys - Nutcracker, March Doll, Clown, Lead Soldier and Chimney Sweep - who must protect themselves and the Christmas tree from the Black King's army attacking them. While the not-so-scary, but more entertaining war rages on - among other things, a cook is kidnapped and a dairy cow explodes - the games like each other more and more and overcome the black army by piling on trick after trick. The planned premiere of the play about the power of love and unity will take place in October 2021, at the Vörösmarty Theater in Székesfehérvár. The volume presents the stage version, the colorful illustrations were made by Lilla Bölecz.
