    The Creative Sound Blaster AE-X is an internal sound card with a PCI Express connection (PCIe x1, version 3.0), suited to home users as well as those with more demanding audio needs. It uses a 384 kHz D/A converter and supports ASIO 2.3, WASAPI and USB audio protocols.

    The front-panel headphone amplifier works with headphones rated from 32 to 300 ohms. Its output voltage can be adjusted to the operating mode: 0.5 Vrms in IEM mode, 1.5 Vrms for bass, 3 Vrms for midrange and 6 Vrms for treble. Maximum output power is 40 mW into a 32-ohm load.

    A Line-In input and a front-panel microphone input (dual mono) provide additional connection options. The card is controlled through the Creative Nexus software and supports Windows 10. The finish is grey and black.
