Players take on the role of workers in the game, crafting utility tools, barrels, iron, glass, and all sorts of other wares.
From all of these, they have to form such production chains during the game that they get as many victory points as possible after them.

The game ends when either player builds their eighth building (including the Coal Burner's Shack they got at the start). When this happens, that round continues, each player can finish their own round. Then the last, special round that closes the game takes place. In this turn, each player can use the production chain on all buildings, including buildings that have no workers and those that have not produced any goods during the game.
