Christopher Moore - A velencei sárkány

We are at the end of the thirteenth century, and Venice is exactly as it is today: Italian and wet. Cordelia sent Tarsoly here to oppose the upcoming crusade on her behalf. But the interests of certain squires and soldiers are very much drawn towards war, and woe to him who stands in their way.
This time, Tarsoly is trying to stand his ground among foreign customs in a foreign land, and after they brutally attack his life, he seeks revenge, using everything he can get his hands on: money, feces and even a mysterious water creature whose lust and appetite are insatiable. Fortunately, there are helpers in the person of the beautiful Jessica, daughter of the usurer Shylock, and Othello, the valiant Moor, so while the blood is flowing, luckily there is also a lot of wine, and in addition to the body parts, the jokes are constantly flying.
Christopher Moore continues to subvert the Shakespearean canon after The Fool. He's on his ass. Combining The Venetian Squidward and Othello, he created a ferocious novel about greed, revenge, betrayal and a terrifying, fatal, but feminine sea monster.
