CATA Wanda 600 XGBK cooker hood black

The CATA Wanda 600 XGBK is a black wall-mounted cooker hood for extracting steam and cooking odours above the hob. It is available in widths of 60 to 90 cm, so it can be paired with hobs of the same size. The unit is fitted with a brushless motor, which the manufacturer designed for strong extraction performance with low energy consumption and very quiet operation. It carries energy class A.

Brushless motors have no carbon brushes and are controlled electronically. According to the manufacturer, this makes them quieter, more efficient and less prone to wear. Without brush friction and dust generation, the motor can also be sealed more effectively against dust.

The hood can vent outdoors through a 150 mm duct or run in recirculation mode with an optional activated carbon filter. An after-run function clears remaining vapour once cooking has finished. The metal grease filter can be cleaned regularly in hot washing-up water or in the dishwasher.
