The MAKERA Carvera wireless sensor is a key component for the automatic probing and levelling functions of the Carvera milling machine. It allows the surface of the material to be detected accurately without any cables, and enables automatic tool calibration. The unit supplied with the milling machine has already been paired at the factory, so it is ready to use straight away. Before first use, however, it must be charged.

Interchangeable tips with 1/8" shank and diameters of 4 mm, 6 mm and 1/4" make the sensor adaptable to different applications. The package includes the wireless sensor with 1/8" shank and the 4 mm, 6 mm and 1/4" mandrels. Contact between the sensor and an obstacle can damage it, so keep an eye on its movement during operation and stop the machine if an obstacle is detected.
