    Product description

    The Carvera Air wired probe (AirWirePrb) is a touch sensor designed for the MAKERA Carvera Air milling machine. It performs automatic edge detection and levelling, allowing precise mapping of the workpiece surface and automatic tool calibration. This makes setup faster and more accurate, which translates into better machining quality and a lower risk of errors.

    The probe is factory-fitted to the right side of the spindle and is ready to use as soon as the machine is switched on. Fitting and removing it is the same as with a standard cutter. Unlike ordinary tools, contact between the probe and an obstacle can cause serious damage, so take care and keep an eye on its movement during operation.

    The package includes the wired probe with a 1/8" shank, a spare 1/8" shank, and one shank each of 4 mm, 6 mm and 1/4". The product is made exclusively for the MAKERA Carvera Air milling machine.
