The Carvera 4-axis module with Harmonic Drive expands the milling machine's capabilities, allowing cylindrical parts, double-sided workpieces and complex 3D shapes to be machined. With all four axes working simultaneously, realistic 3D models can be produced from wood, plastic or non-ferrous metals, without the limitations typical of 3D printing. The improved design supports 4th-axis zero-point setting and work coordinate adjustment, giving greater control over the process.

The Harmonic Drive gearing delivers high precision and minimal backlash, resulting in smooth and stable motion even on demanding projects. The module uses a Nema17 stepper motor with a maximum speed of 2400 rpm and a rotational accuracy of 0.01°. Its working area measures 9.2 cm in diameter and 24 cm in length, and the unit weighs 2.5 kg. Mounting adapters and assembly tools are included and should be installed according to the instructions before first use.
