The Carlinkit MINI ULTRA turns a car with factory-fitted wired CarPlay or Android Auto into a wireless infotainment system. This ultra-compact 2-in-1 adapter connects your smartphone via Bluetooth 5.2 and Wi-Fi, so no cables are needed in the cabin. According to the product data, it is compatible with iPhone 6 or later and Android 11.0 or later, and supports apps such as Spotify, Google Maps, WhatsApp and Amazon Music.

The adapter plugs into the vehicle's USB-A port and is held in place by a snap-fit clip. You can control it with the touchscreen, steering wheel buttons, a rotary controller or voice commands. The manufacturer states that after the first pairing the device reconnects to the car in about 5 to 10 seconds. Its 1.0 GHz dual-core processor automatically adapts to the screen's native resolution.
