This OM3 duplex multimode fiber optic cable is designed to connect 10GBase-SR and 10GBase-LRM devices as well as SFP+ and QSFP+ transceivers, making it suitable for building 10-gigabit network links. One end carries two SC multimode connectors and the other end two ST multimode connectors, so it bridges the two connector types.

The 50/125 micron core and cladding diameter keeps it backward compatible with existing 50/125 equipment and provides sufficient power budget for LED and VCSEL light sources as well as 10-gigabit Ethernet applications.

The LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jacket is made from materials that reduce smoke and halogen emission at extreme temperatures, so it can be used safely in poorly ventilated spaces. The 10-metre aqua-coloured cable complies with the TIA/EIA-455-171A standard.
