The Bresser Messier MCX-127 GoTo telescope is specially optimized for planetary observation due to its long focal length, thanks to which it provides a better image both in terms of sharpness and contrast.

Goto systems play an important role in the world of astronomy by allowing users to spend less time searching for celestial objects and more time observing and photographing. Thanks to the GoTo control design, the telescope can be operated with a remote control. After entering the basic data, such as the date, time and location, at least 1 known reference star must be entered, after which the objects can be selected from the integrated database and the MCX telescope will automatically turn on and follow the given celestial body.

One of the outstanding features of the MCX telescopes is the very robust universal stand made of aluminum and stainless steel. Which guarantees safe stability during monitoring. In addition, the mechanics are equipped with precision ball bearings on both axes and precision worm gears made of steel and brass. This ensures smooth and quiet star tracking. Photography is made easier by the smartphone adapter, which can be used to attach the phone to the 26 mm eyepiece, and the M35 thread to which the camera can be connected.

When it comes to tracking the stars with a telescope or camera, nothing compares to a German equatorial or parallactic tripod design for precision and accuracy. It is important to follow the objects as accurately as possible. With the German equatorial/parallactic system, it is very easy for observers to capture objects in the center of the eyepiece for longer periods of time. This adjustment option (EQ mode) is already included in the new MCX telescope.
