Product description
Where is it illegal to fall asleep in South Dakota? Do you know the answer?
Do you know what is considered rude about a baguette in France? And do you know what was one of Sándor Petőfi's favorite dishes? But you certainly don't know what Kevin Shelley broke 46 pieces of with his head in one minute in 2007!
In Hallatlan, players aim to collect as many points as possible by choosing false answers and avoiding true answers. A special twist, as you don't have to guess the truth, but who is lying!
In Hallatlan, you will play three different roles:
The guesser - you use the cards to ask surprising questions, and it will be your job to find out which of the answers you receive are true and which are false.
Red herrings - your task is to come up with a false answer to the given question and convince the guesser that it is true.
An infallible trick - you will give the correct answer to the given question, but will you succeed in doing so by deceiving the guesser?
The game:
The guesser draws a question card and reads out the question. Make sure the answer is clearly visible on the back of the card. The red herrings have 15 seconds after reading the question to come up with a false answer. The trickster acts as if he is thinking of an answer, even though he is going to tell the truth. Then the players say their answer.
Hint:
The guesser earns points by hitting the wrong answers one by one. You can get one more point if you manage to choose the infallible cell last. The bettor can end the bet at any time during the round and cash in the points earned up to that point. However, if you choose the foolproof trick before you have revealed all the red herrings, you lose your unredeemed points and your turn ends.
If you play the game with 4-5 people, the game lasts until everyone has guessed at least twice. And only once for 6-10 players. The player who has collected the most points at the end of the game wins the game.
