The BenQ LU785 is a laser DLP projector designed for meeting rooms and larger lecture halls. It projects in native WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels with a 16:10 aspect ratio and delivers 6000 ANSI lumens of brightness, so the image stays clearly visible even in brightly lit rooms. A contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 provides deep blacks and detailed picture reproduction.

The laser light source has a long service life of up to 20,000 hours in normal mode and up to 38,000 hours in economy mode, so no lamp replacement is needed. A throw ratio of 1.15 to 1.90:1 and 1.65x optical zoom allow flexible placement, with image sizes adjustable from 76 cm to 762 cm.

The projector supports 3D playback (glasses sold separately) and 1.07 billion colours. The built-in 5 W speaker operates at 38 dB, or 34 dB in economy mode. The white unit measures 36 x 45.3 x 16.4 cm and weighs 11.3 kg, and is intended for fixed installation.
