Duett is a young adult novel by Flemish author Bart Moeyaert, who wrote it when he was just 17. It follows Lander, a schoolboy who falls head over heels for Liselot, the new girl in his class, and discovers that his feelings are returned. Shared homework sessions, walks home, a winter fair and a three-day school trip to Belgium bring the two closer, until a mistake of Lander's leads to an argument with lasting consequences.
