    The AXIS Q1971-E is an outdoor bullet thermal network camera designed to detect and identify people and objects reliably in poor weather and lighting conditions. It includes artificial intelligence-based analytics and supports the AXIS Perimeter Defender solution for enhanced perimeter security.

    The camera features a fixed 7 mm lens and a resolution of 768 × 576 pixels at up to 8 fps. Supported output formats are H.264, H.265, Motion JPEG and Zipstream. It connects via Gigabit Ethernet and is powered by PoE, with an operating temperature range from -40 °C to +60 °C.

    Its housing is rated IP66/IP67 for protection against water and dust and IK10 for impact resistance. Two I/O ports allow a speaker to be connected for voice alerts. Axis Edge Vault technology, certified to FIPS 140-2 Level 2, protects encryption keys, and local storage is supported via an SD card.
