The AXIS Q1728-LE is an outdoor bullet camera delivering 4K resolution (3840 x 2160) at 8 megapixels. Its large 1/1.2-inch RGB CMOS sensor performs well in low light, while the varifocal lens, covering 15.2 to 48.7 mm with 3.2x optical zoom, captures detailed footage at a range of distances.

Built-in analytics detect and classify objects directly on the camera, reducing the need for separate processing. Infrared night vision keeps the scene visible in poor light and total darkness, and WDR helps balance scenes with strong backlight.

The housing is rated IP66, IP67 and IK10, protecting it against dust, water and physical impact. Gigabit Ethernet and Power over Ethernet make installation straightforward, and a memory card slot allows local recording.
