AXIS FA1105 Sensor Unit

The AXIS FA1105 is a compact sensor unit designed for discreet indoor surveillance at 1080p resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels). It is part of the modular AXIS FA series, in which a small sensor unit, consisting of lens and image sensor, is connected by cable to a separate main unit, the AXIS FA54, which is sold separately. This allows the main unit to be placed wherever space is available.

Thanks to its thumb-sized housing, the sensor can be installed in tight spaces or at eye level to capture faces clearly and unobtrusively. When mounted on a wall, ceiling or metal panel, only a small lens opening is visible. The lens provides a 111-degree horizontal field of view and 61 degrees vertically.

Forensic WDR keeps detail visible in high-contrast scenes, such as bright backlight, and brightens darker areas. In low light, the sensor delivers colour video with low noise. The housing is made of aluminium and plastic and is PVC-free. The unit operates between -20 °C and +50 °C.
