The 2N Access Unit 2.0 is a versatile modular access unit with a touch keypad that combines PIN code and RFID card identification. It supports 125 kHz and 13.56 MHz cards as well as NFC technology, so residents can choose whether to memorise a PIN code or carry an RFID card. For night-time entry, it can also be set to require both credentials at the same time, adding an extra layer of security.

The unit suits residential buildings and office environments alike and works with the 2N IP Verso, IP Force and IP Base intercoms as well as the 2N Access Commander IP access control system. It can be surface-mounted or flush-mounted and supports power over Ethernet (PoE). The zinc die-cast housing provides a durable and good-looking finish.

One-time access codes allow convenient guest access, for example granting maintenance staff temporary entry without handing over a physical key or card.
