The internal AXAGON PCEM2-XS adapter enables the NVMe M.2 SSD disk to be connected to a computer using the PCI-Express busbar. Thanks to the high-quality workmanship, compact dimensions, attractive design and thoughtful cooling, the adapter is an ideal choice for upgrading desktop computers not equipped with an M.2 slot.

The adapter supports the use of single-sided and double-sided NVMe (PCI-Express) M.2 SSD disks. A Downscaling has no limit to the capacity of the SSD disk, and M.2 cards up to 22 x 80 mm can be used.

Maximum transfer speed is achieved thanks to the PCI-Express interface. The LED indicates a disk connection or data transfer in the M.2 slot.

The adapter is equipped with a finned aluminum plate cover that serves as a passive heatsink. Thanks to the large cooling surface and the included thermal pads, the cooler dissipates heat from both sides of the M.2 disk and thus achieves maximum cooling efficiency. This makes it ideal even for demanding PCIe 5.0 NVMe SSDs.
