The internal AXAGON PCEM2-DC adapter enables the connection of up to two M.2 SSD disks to a computer using a PCI-Express busbar. An ideal choice for upgrading desktop computers without an M.2 slot.

The adapter supports the use of one- and two-sided B-key SATA and M-key NVMe (PCI-Express) M.2 SSD disks. The reducer has unlimited SSD disk capacity and any max. Allows the use of a 110 mm M.2 card. It is natural for the two discs to work simultaneously.

Thanks to the PCI-Express 3.0 4-lane interface compatible with x4, x8 and x16 slots, a speed of up to 8GBps can be achieved. When NVMe SSD disks are used, the data transfer speed is several times higher than that of traditional SATA disks.

The high-quality construction of the card, including the copper-covered openings, helps to better dissipate the heat generated during the operation of the M.2 SDD disks. The cooling of the M.2 SSD disks is facilitated by the metal casing equipped with a fan and the included passive cooler with heat-conducting pads. The result is an ideal combination of passive and active cooling of M.2 SSD disks, as well as heat dissipation. Thanks to the cooling and a temperature of up to 35°C lower, the maximum performance of the installed SSDs can be used.

The double blue LED indicator light indicates M.2 slot connection or data transfer. To install the adapter in low-profile cabinets, the packaging includes a low-profile end cap.

ATTENTION! In the case of the adapter, B+M-key discs can be inserted into both M.2 slots. It is important to check the parameters of the disk - i.e. whether the disk can be used for SATA or NVMe (PCI-Express) interface, and connect it to the appropriate slot. In the vast majority of cases, B+M-key discs work exclusively with a SATA interface. Therefore, they must be connected to the B-key (SATA) slot.
