The AXAGON PCEE-GIX PCI-Express network card equips the desktop computer with an ultra-fast Gigabit Ethernet connection. It is backward compatible with 10/100Base-T networks.

The network card is equipped with a high-performance Intel I210AT chipset. It offers many advanced functions, e.g. accurate time synchronization, traffic formatting of AV data streams, processor load reduction functions and support for a wide range of energy management. The LAN adapter supports Network Boot (PXE) and ensures seamless compatibility with most operating systems.

The Gigabit network adapter expands the computer with a fast network connection, adds the missing RJ-45 network connector, another network card, or replaces the original non-functional network connection.

In addition to the adapter, the package also includes a low-profile blanking plug for fitting the adapter into lower-profile housings.

The network card supports advanced Power Management that reduces losses at rest or with light network traffic. It also supports advanced energy saving when the Ethernet cable is disconnected.
