The AXAGON PCEA-PSN PCI-Express card equips the desktop computer with one parallel port with a DB25 connector and two RS-232 standard serial ports with a DB-9 connector.

High performance, perfect compatibility and wide port options are provided by the proven ASIX chipset.

The included low-profile backplate allows the controller to be installed in both standard and low-profile PC cases.

Input
- PCI-Express 2.0 interface is compatible with PCI-Express 1.0a / 1.1 / 2.1 / 3.0.
- Number of 1 lane (x1) lines compatible with x1 / x4 / x8 / x16 PCIe lanes.
- The bandwidth of the 1-lane PCI-Express 2.0 bus is 5 Gb/s.

Output parallel ports
- 1 x parallel IEEE 1284 port with a DB25 female connector, the port is located on the blind plug of the card.
- SPP/BYTE/ECP compatible.

Output serial ports
- 2x serial RS-232 ports with DB9 male connector, the ports are located on a separate blind plug and connected to the card with a cable.
- The RS232 drivers used guarantee a data flow of up to 250 kBd.
- Compatible: 16C550 / Extended 16C550 / 16C950 UART.

- Transmit and receive 256 bytes for each port's FIFO buffer.
- Serial port baud rate setting.
- Adjustable word length: 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 bits.

- Adjustable flow control Xon/Xoff, hardware or off.
- The COM port number changes.
- Advanced 9-bit data transfer settings and custom transfer rate settings.
- Supports TXD, RXD, RTS, CTS, DTR, DCD, DSR and RI serial signals.
- Serial port electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection exceeds ± 15KV air gap discharge and ± 8KV contact discharge.
