The AXAGON HMC-UFO USB-C 10Gbps UFO hub expands your laptop, computer or tablet with eight ports and an external box for the M.2 drive. You connect your laptop to the 9in1 docking station via the included 65 cm long USB-C cable. In no time, you'll have an integrated slot for an NVMe or SATA M.2 drive, an SD and microSD card reader, and connectors for connecting a monitor, USB devices, headphones, a network cable, and a Power Delivery power supply. Thanks to Thunderbolt 3/4 compatibility, you can create a simple and compact docking station for a laptop such as the Apple MacBook Air or Pro.

For the hub to work properly, the laptop's USB-C port must support video output (DisplayPort Alternate Mode or Thunderbolt 3 or higher) and Power Delivery.

You can connect an NVME or SATA M.2 SSD through the built-in slot on the top of the hub. The multiport hub thus becomes an external drive. M.2 cards can be single- or double-sided up to 22x42, 22x60 and 22x80 mm. External M.2 storage has no SSD capacity limitation, supports TRIM and UASP, and enables S.M.A.R.T. reading information to monitor disk status.

The upper cover of the M.2 socket is made of aluminum, which provides optimal protection and heat dissipation. Thanks to the screwless fastening, changing the plates is quick and easy. The included passive heatsink effectively helps reduce the temperature of the M.2 drives. The ventilation holes surrounding the lid ensure adequate air flow, which also supports efficient heat dissipation.

The HDMI output enables the connection of an external monitor, TV or projector with up to 4K/60Hz Ultra HD, 2K/144Hz Quad HD or 1080p/240Hz Full HD resolution, as well as the transmission of multi-channel audio. Thanks to HDR support, you can enjoy a significantly expanded range of colors and contrasts.

The two USB-A 10Gbps outputs allow you to connect external drives, flash drives, mice, printers and other USB accessories. The USB ports can charge mobile phones and tablets with a power of up to 7.5 W. The hub also has a combined USB-C port, which can be used for data transfer (USB 5Gbps) or for charging a laptop with a Power Delivery charger. By using a suitable PD charger, you can power not only the laptop, but also the hub itself with a power of up to 100 W thanks to Power Delivery 3.0 technology.

The memory card reader supports reading and writing of all versions of SD and microSD cards up to 2 TB. The card reader enables simultaneous handling of cards in both slots and direct copying between cards.

The 3.5 mm audio output can be used to connect stereo headphones, a headset or an active speaker. The device is equipped with a high-quality DAC converter that supports up to 384 kHz, 24-bit sampling. A gigabit network card expands your computer with a fast and stable network connection, complements the missing RJ-45 network connector or another network card.

Thanks to the clever design, the station stays firmly in place thanks to the four rubber pads on the base. One of the most practical features is the attachment of the USB-C cable, which neatly wraps around the base. Thanks to this solution, you can easily wind the cable to exactly the length you need, so that the unnecessary cable does not take up unnecessary space on the desk.

Thanks to the Plug and Play and Hot Plug functions, connecting the hub itself is very easy, without complicated installation, and peripherals can also be easily connected and disconnected while the computer is running. The hub does not shy away from connecting to phones with a USB-C connector either. For example, a pen drive, keyboard, mouse, display, TV or projector can be connected to the phone.
