Product description
The AXAGON EEM2-SD2B is an aluminium external enclosure for M.2 SSDs that accepts both NVMe and SATA drives. It supports M and B+M key types in 2242, 2260 and 2280 lengths and connects via USB 3.2 Gen 2 at up to 10 Gbps. It is a practical way to turn an existing M.2 drive into a fast external storage device or to move data between computers.
An LED display shows the drive's temperature, health status, file system, transfer speed and operating hours in real time. UASP, TRIM and S.M.A.R.T. support are included, and the enclosure allows booting from the external SSD.
The aluminium housing and thermal pad help dissipate heat from the SSD and reduce the risk of thermal throttling. The screwless opening makes drive swaps quick. The package includes a 25 cm USB-C to USB-C cable and a USB-C to USB-A adapter.
