AXAGON CLR-M2FAN copper heatsink with fan for perfect cooling of high-performance M.2 SSD disks, especially NVMe. The universal passive heatsink can be used for M.2 cards, size 22 x 80 mm. The included thermal pad enables cooler operation for all single-sided and double-sided M.2 SSDs.

The core of the copper heatsink with an aluminum body is 8.6 mm high. Inside the body there is a fan with PWM speed control, which is connected to the computer's motherboard with a 4-pin power connector. The speed of the fan can be automatically controlled depending on the temperature, in order to save energy or reduce noise.

The copper heatsink together with the fan and metal frame help to optimally dissipate the heat generated during the operation of the M.2 SSD. It also reduces the temperature of the drive by up to 30 °C. This extends the life of the M.2 SSD and prevents the disk from slowing down, the so-called "Thermal Throttling".

The heatsink can be used not only with the M.2 AXAGON adapters, but also with the M.2 (NGFF) slots of the motherboards. Thanks to the metal frame, the heatsink dissipates heat from both sides of the M.2 disk and thus achieves maximum cooling efficiency.
