Straight to any optical connection

Whether AON, GPON or XGS-PON: The FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber can be used directly with any optical connection – without a media converter or upstream provider modem. Thanks to the built-in socket of SFP format fiber optic modules (transceivers), the appropriate plug-in module can be used depending on the type of connection. There are different editions of the FRITZ!Box 5530 Fiber – one for each optical connection type. A FRITZ!SFP corresponding to the optical connection type AON, GPON or XGS-PON is included in the delivery.
