The AT-VM95E is an elliptical entry-level phono cartridge from Audio-Technica, designed for turntable playback. It succeeds the well-known AT95E and draws on development experience from the AT95EX, introduced in 2015. Its more rigid body with low resonance is built to keep the signal clean and stable.
Two threaded inserts allow mounting in a headshell or integrated tonearm with just two screws, without nuts. The cartridge features an aluminium cantilever and an output voltage of 4.0 mV. The body is compatible with all styli in the VM95 series.
Its frequency response of 20 Hz to 22,000 Hz covers the full audible range. The AT-VM95E suits Hi-Fi systems that need a reliable, balanced entry point into vinyl playback.
