The AT-LP140XP fully manual, professional DJ turntable features a high-torque, direct-drive motor and a resonance-free, mass-damping cast aluminum turntable that provides stable, on-axis rotation at 33-1/3, 45, and 78 rpm. It is equipped with an S-shaped tonearm, height adjustment, adjustable follower force (counterweight) and adjustable dynamic anti-slip.

Audio-Technica has been a leader in turntable pickup design for over 50 years, and that expertise is reflected in the durable, high-performance AT-XP3 DJ pickup that comes with the turntable and features a 0.6 mil tapered knit needle. Pre-installed with an AT-HS6 universal ½" mount headstock.

The turntable is designed to connect to components with a dedicated turntable input, has a detachable dual RCA output cable and provides a powerful 5.5mV output.

Other professional features include a start/stop button; forward and backward playback; selectable high-precision quartz-controlled pitch lock and pitch-shift slider controls with +/-8%, +/-16%, and +/-24% adjustment ranges; stroboscopic plate with speed indicator; pop-up pinprick target light; and a removable, hinged dust cover.
