The KA7189 KVM Adapter Cable connects a KVM switch to the DisplayPort video and USB ports of the target computer.* The KA7189 supports DisplayPort output and has two USB ports to connect the target computer for keyboard/mouse, Virtual Media or Smart Card/CAC. Reading functions.
The KA7189 supports Audio De-Embedder, which extracts audio from the DisplayPort signal. Advanced features of the KA7189 include a small size and lightweight design, as well as superior signal compensation and delay distortion technology for greatly improved video quality.
*Both USB connectors must be connected to USB ports on the target computer in order for the KA7189 to receive sufficient power.

- This maximum resolution may vary depending on the transmission distance. See the product pages of the connected KVM switches for more details. When using an unshielded cable, video and audio signals can also cause interference, and long-distance transmission can cause more serious interference. Generally, interference occurs when the transmission distance exceeds 40 meters.
