As a complete solution, the VE1821 comes as a transmitter and receiver kit that extends HDMI signals at 4096 x 2160 / 3840 x 2160 @ 30 Hz (4 : 4 : 4) to 40 m. Cat 6 cable (ATEN 2L-2910 recommended). Crystal clear video presentation is guaranteed thanks to its ability to transmit 4K sources without delay. Meanwhile, it supports lossless audio formats such as LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus and DTS-HD Master Audio to add superior sound to video content, enhancing the viewers' experience.
Designed to optimize installation flexibility, the VE1821 features an ultra-light, palm-sized enclosure perfect for installation or placement in tight spaces. The transmitter includes a local HDMI output port that allows for cascading or for users to monitor the UHD signal extended to the receiver. With the built-in EDID switch, users can control which EDID is sent from any display. In addition, the HDMI source can be displayed in the optimal resolution in EDID copy mode based on the capabilities of the connected display. Thanks to the IR transmission functionality, the source device connected to the transmitter can be seamlessly controlled from the receiver side, thus providing the user with easy and complete control. The VE1821 uses PoC (Power over Cable) technology, which allows the transmitter to power the receiver via a Cat 6 cable, eliminating the need for a bulky external power supply.
With such a rich set of features, the VE1821 provides excellent AV transmission quality and flexibility for various installation scenarios such as meeting rooms, retail settings, entertainment systems, etc.
