Style and construction

A significant amount of air can be drawn in through the front ventilation hole so that the temperature can always remain balanced for the perfect operation of the system and the graphics card. All of this is in perfect harmony with the appearance of the case: this new kind of bold elegance is colored by elements such as the glowing triangles with the ROG logo on the front of the case, or the slanted slits that surround them.

Designed to be airy

The world of Republic of Gamers is populated by builders who want the best. The Hyperion GR701 offers the option of high-end cooling by accommodating two 420mm radiators at the front and top of the case, with four 140mm PWM fans pre-wired to an Aura Sync ARGB fan hub.

Devices that can be installed in several ways

Between the motherboard tray and the front of the case is a neat new vertical mounting area for a variety of needs. Several system fans and a 2.5" SSD can be placed here, but it can also accommodate a 360 mm radiator, a water cooling heat spreader, or a ROG-themed light panel.

Ample space for routing and arranging cables

There's a 34mm-deep space under the motherboard tray for cable management, and a 46mm-wide cable management channel with ROG-branded Velcro helps keep things looking tidy when viewed through the transparent side panel. The case also comes with a semi-transparent cable cover, which leaves the appearance of the wiring in beneficial obscurity, but through which the RGB lights can shine through.

Support for large graphics cards

This well-adapted housing can accommodate cards up to 460 mm long and 130 mm thick, both horizontally and vertically. Whether you want a ROG Strix RTX 4090 or another similarly sized card, you'll have plenty of room to install it.

Hinged side panels that can be assembled without tools

To make it as easy as possible to reach the inside of the machine at any time, we installed a hinged side panel made of darkened glass on this housing, which can be easily opened to the side without any tools, and can then be lifted out of its place if necessary.

Hidden account

To make maintenance easier, we have also integrated a small storage compartment into the housing, where you can store small items such as PCIe slot clamps, screws or cable ties - meaning that frequently used accessories will always be within reach.

Built-in graphics card holder

The ROG Hyperion GR701 also features a very clever graphics card holder, whose lightweight, anodized aluminum elements can be used both horizontally and vertically to support long graphics cards and prevent bending. It is also compatible with the ROG Herculx card holder.

Fan and ARGB distributor

No ROG case these days is complete without a built-in hub for controlling fans and ARGB lights. The current one is decorated with a gold ROG logo and can handle up to eight ARGB components and six PWM fans, so you can build your own lighting and cooling configuration in addition to the originally connected light board and four case fans.

Double Type-C fast charging

Every ROG case has a variety of connectors on the front panel. ROG Hyperion not only carries on this tradition, but also adds two USB Type-C® connectors that can offer data transfer speeds of up to 20 Gbps and 60-watt fast charging – complete with a compatible motherboard.

ALUMINUM CAST FRAME

The chassis of the ROG Hyperion is made of a strong aluminum alloy, which is shaped into a characteristic X shape (prominent in the middle) and whose extensions run along the edges of the case. This sturdy structure doubles as a carrying handle for lifting up to 80 kilos of hardware.

The case also comes with an integrated ARGB light panel that clearly advertises the ROG identity to anyone who looks into the case, but can also be placed outside if the machine builder would rather use that space for fans or SSDs.
