Product description
ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE gamer keyboard. With Hall Effect magnetic switches, 8000 Hz polling frequency and Rapid Trigger function for competitive FPS and MOBA games. Compact 75% layout, interchangeable ROG HFX V2/V2X switches, PBT keycaps.
Magnetic switches, esport precision
The ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE is a premium class gaming keyboard with Hall Effect (magnetic) technology, which was specially developed for competitive gamers. The quick-change ROG HFX V2 and V2X magnetic switches provide more precise control and smoother key travel compared to traditional mechanical switches.
8000 Hz polling and Rapid Trigger
The keyboard works with a polling frequency of 8000 Hz, which means a response time of 0.125 ms, which is eight times faster than conventional 1000 Hz keyboards. The Rapid Trigger function resets the key immediately upon release, a critical advantage in competitive shooter (FPS) games, while the built-in physical switch enables or disables the function without software.
Fine-tunable sensitivity and SOCD mode
With a dedicated sensitivity potentiometer, the sensitivity of the actuation point and the Rapid Trigger can be fine-tuned even without software. The Speed Tap (SOCD) mode always takes into account the last press when pressing opposite direction buttons simultaneously, so an immediate and accurate change of direction is realized, which is especially important in competitive FPS.
Compact design, premium build quality
The 75% layout keyboard measures 320 x 145 x 35mm, comes in black and white color options, with ROG Doubleshot PBT keycaps that are textured and wear-resistant. The package includes the carrying case, keycap puller, USB cable, ROG sticker, additional ctrl keycap, as well as the quick guide and warranty booklet.
Compatibility and connectivity
The keyboard is connected via a USB 2.0 (Type-C to Type-A) connection, is compatible with Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems, and can be customized with the Gear Link software. The hot-swap switches are compatible with several ROG models, such as ROG Azoth 96 HE, ROG Falcata, ROG Harpe II Ace, ROG Azoth X and ROG Keris II Origin.
What is a Hall Effect switch and why is it better than a traditional mechanical one?
The Hall Effect (magnetic) switch detects a magnetic field when the key is pressed, not physical contact, so there is no wear and the sensing is more accurate and consistent. This also enables Rapid Trigger and Adjustable Actuation Point features not available with traditional mechanical switches.
What does Rapid Trigger mean and when is it useful?
Rapid Trigger resets the key as soon as you start to release it, you don't need to release it completely for the next press. This is especially useful in competitive FPS games (e.g. Counter-Strike, Valorant), where a quick change of direction or stop-and-strafe technique can be decisive.
Can the keyboard be customized without software?
Yes, the ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE has a dedicated physical potentiometer and switch that can be used to fine-tune sensitivity and enable/disable Rapid Trigger without installing software.
What does Speed Tap (SOCD) mode mean?
Speed Tap mode always takes into account the last pressed button when pressing buttons in opposite directions (e.g. A and D) at the same time, this enables a more accurate and immediate change of direction in competitive games.
Is it compatible with switches on other ROG keyboards?
Yes, the hot-swap sockets are compatible with the switches of several ROG models, such as the switches of the ROG Azoth 96 HE, ROG Falcata, ROG Harpe II Ace, ROG Azoth X and ROG Keris II Origin.
What operating systems does it work with?
The keyboard is supported under Windows 10 and Windows 11, connected with a USB Type-C to Type-A cable, and the light effect and function keys can be customized using the Gear Link software.
What accessories are in the box?
The package includes a carrying case, keycap puller, USB cable, ROG sticker, an extra Ctrl keycap, as well as a quick guide and warranty booklet.
