The ASUS ROG Crosshair X870E Edition 20 is an AM5 socket motherboard built on the AMD X870E chipset, supporting Ryzen 7000 and 9000 series processors. It is aimed at enthusiasts who want a high-end platform for demanding gaming and workstation builds. The board accepts up to 256 GB of DDR5 memory across four slots and offers nine M.2 slots, including two PCIe 5.0 ones, which suits fast storage and RAID arrays.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth, two 10-gigabit LAN ports and eight USB Type-C ports, two of them with USB4. Two PCIe 5.0 x16 slots are provided for graphics cards and expansion cards. The board also includes lighting and uses the EATX form factor.
The Edition 20 was designed to mark the 20th anniversary of the Republic of Gamers, with a distinctive design and a dedicated rear I/O cover. The matching ROG Ryujin 360 Edition 20 liquid cooler is available alongside it.
